Job description
Are you passionate about connecting people with opportunities where they can truly thrive? Do you get excited by growth, challenge, and building something meaningful? If you’re eager to help shape the future of Grant Thornton by attracting top talent and strengthening our employer brand, this role might be for you.
As a Talent Acquisition Officer, you play a key role in our growth story. You’ll be closely involved in attracting both junior and senior talent and will have a direct impact on our culture, teams, and long-term success.
Your role and impact
You take full ownership of recruiting our junior talent population. This means being actively present at job fairs, developing creative campus recruitment initiatives, and building strong relationships with universities, colleges, and student organizations across Belgium.
Alongside junior recruitment, you also support the hiring of more experienced profiles across our different service lines and offices, working closely with the business to understand their needs.
You continuously look for smart and innovative ways to engage young talent. Based on the role and its complexity, you design and execute targeted recruitment strategies that attract the right candidates at the right time.
You work closely with — and report to — the Talent Acquisition Manager. Together, you ensure vacancies are filled efficiently and contribute directly to the growth of the firm by bringing in high-quality talent.
You act as a trusted recruitment partner for your internal stakeholders: you understand their challenges, advise them throughout the process, and make sure recruitment runs smoothly from start to finish.
You proactively source candidates across a variety of platforms and tools, approaching them with enthusiasm and authenticity. Over time, you build sustainable talent pools and long-term relationships with potential candidates.
In close collaboration with hiring managers, you guide candidates through an engaging and professional hiring process, ensure all required checks are completed, and keep our ATS up to date. Once a candidate accepts an offer, you take care of the administrative follow-up and ensure a seamless handover to the onboarding team.
Together with our marketing colleagues, you actively contribute to strengthening our employer brand and reinforcing Grant Thornton’s position as an employer of choice.
You also take part in broader projects and initiatives aimed at continuously improving our talent acquisition function. You keep an eye on market trends and new ideas — and if you see opportunities to do things better, we’re open to hearing them.
This is a varied and people-focused role that requires flexibility: you will travel between our 7 offices in Belgium to attend events, meet candidates in person, and collaborate with hiring managers on site.

Who you are

You know how to engage young talent and can clearly explain how you translate that into effective recruitment actions.
You’re comfortable managing multiple recruitment processes at the same time and keeping your pipeline structured and under control.
You build relationships easily, take initiative, stay organized, communicate transparently, and approach challenges with a problem-solving and creative mindset.
You are fluent in Dutch, French, and English, both written and spoken, and are flexible and mobile within Belgium.
What can we offer you?
At Grant Thornton, we proudly carry the Great Place to Work label and foster a people-centred and positive working environment, with our CLEARR values as a strong foundation.
