What will you do?

As a Senior, your role is hands-on and execution-focused, with increasing autonomy:

  • Execute internal audit and business risk advisory engagements as part of an engagement team, under the guidance of a Manager.

  • Analyse business processes, process flows and risk areas to identify control weaknesses and opportunities for improvement.

  • Perform control testing and audit procedures in line with the defined audit approach and methodology.

  • Clearly and accurately document audit work, findings and conclusions.

  • Draft audit observations and contribute to the preparation of insightful and practical audit reports.

  • Discuss findings with operational client contacts and help translate risks into actionable recommendations.

  • Apply a risk-based mindset throughout all assignments.

  • Continuously build your knowledge of internal audit standards, methodologies and emerging risk topics.

Job requirements

Who are we looking for?

  • You are a motivated professional who is eager to learn, take ownership and deliver quality:

  • You have at least 2 years of relevant experience in internal audit, external audit or risk advisory.

  • You hold a Master’s degree (e.g. economics, business administration, finance or engineering).

  • You have strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.

  • You can translate analyses into clear findings and practical recommendations.

  • You communicate clearly, confidently and professionally with colleagues and clients.

  • You are proactive, curious and committed to continuous learning and development.

  • You are motivated to further develop your expertise and work towards a professional certification (e.g. CIA or IAP).

  • You are fluent in Dutch or French, with a strong professional knowledge of English.

  • You act with integrity and handle confidential information responsibly.
