What does a Senior Auditor at Grant Thornton do?
• As a trusted advisor, you identify operational weaknesses with your clients and map out financial or accounting risks.
• Within our Audit & Assurance department, you will be involved with consolidated financial statements, due diligence investigations, periodic financial reports, and other audit tasks.
• Operational tasks such as preparing the audit program and establishing control procedures are also part of your responsibilities.
• As a senior staff member, you’ll mainly focus on engaging and complex assignments.
• You work primarily on client sites, so you’ll have a lot of direct, personal contact.
Job requirements
What makes you the Senior Auditor we're looking for?
- You have a bachelor’s degree in accountancy-taxation or a master’s degree with a specialization in this field.
- You have at least two years of experience in an audit role.
- You express yourself fluently in Dutch, and English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
- You are Client-oriented and think outside the box: proactively looking for solutions tailored to your clients’ business realities.
- You are flexible and able to travel to our various offices and those of your clients.
